How does Tradeo Profit?

As an STP Broker, Tradeo makes its profit only from the Spread – the difference between the sell and the buy price. This means, that Tradeo will not trade against their clients.

What is an STP broker?

Straight Through Processing (STP) broker is a type of online broker. It is connected to one or multiple liquidity providers and forwards the trades of its clients to the liquidity provider that currently offers the best price.
Unlike Market Makers, STP brokers do not trade against their clients, so there is no conflict of interest.

Is Tradeo Secure?

Trading with Tradeo is very secure as we do our utmost to protect our clients’ confidentiality. We use the internationally accepted security system SSL to encrypt all credit card payments over the web. We will not disclose your account balance, trade profits, etc. to other traders on our network.

Is Tradeo Regulated?

Tradeo is operated by UR TRADE FIX Ltd (CIF license number 282/15), a fully licensed Investment Services Company (registration number HE 336677) and is regulated and licensed under the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) to provide the following investment and ancillary services in relation to the financial instruments stated further below:

Investment Services:

  1. Reception and Transmission of orders in relation to one or more Financial Instruments.
  2. Execution of Orders on Behalf of Clients.
  3. Portfolio Management

Ancillary Services:

  1. Safekeeping and administration of financial instruments, including custodianship and related services.
  2. Foreign exchange services where these are connected to the provision of investment services.

Can I use Experts Advisors (robots)?

Yes, you can use your own Experts Advisors through the MT4 platform.

Which instruments can I trade on Tradeo?

Tradeo provides you with access to 200+ instruments. You can trade Forex and CFDs on Crypto Currencies, Commodities, Indices and Stocks. Check our Market Quotes page for a full list of the instruments you can find on our platform.

How to open a trade?

Opening a trade is easy. You first need to go to the Social WebTrader, and choose whether you want to trade with your Demo account or Real account. Then choose an instrument that you want to trade and decide on the type of order you want to execute: buy or sell.

How to reset my Website Password?

In case you are unable to login to tradeo.com, please click the link for “Forgot Password”. Type in the email address that you used to sign up for Tradeo (username), and we will send you an email to that address with a link to change your password.

How to determine the amount of my trade?

Determining the amount of your trades is easy because we always show it to you in units for the respective instrument. For example, if you are buying EUR for USD and the amount of your trade is 1000, this means you are buying 1000 of the base currency (EUR). If you want to short CFDs on Apple stocks and the amount if your trade is 1, this mean you’re selling 1 CFD on Apple stocks.

How to set Stop Loss and Take profit?

You can set Stop Loss and/or Take Profit when you open a trade. For your convenience, you can secure your profit or limit your losses by setting Stop Loss and Take Profit in either Price or Amount.

  • Use Price if you want to indicate at what price the position will close; or
  • Use Amount (ex/10 USD or 20 USD) to tell our platform what amount of profit or loss should trigger an action (our platform will calculate the price for you).

 

You can also set Stop Loss and Take Profit directly on the chart that displays after you open a position or from the Open Position tab on the Social Web Trader

What types of orders can I open?

You can open Market Execution orders which will be opened immediately at the current sell/buy price or pending order which will open when the price of an instrument reaches given sell/buy price.

What is one-click-trade?

Login to our Social Web Trader and go to the Signals Tab. You will see the most recent signals for a wide range of instruments, as well as the trader who has shared the signal with our trading community. Stop Loss and Take Profit are included, if applicable.

How to use the Social Sentiment?

The social sentiment shows you the percentage of open Buy and Sell positions on our platform. More Buying can indicate that traders believe prices will increase; more Selling that prices will fall.

What is leverage?

Leverage gives you the ability to control a larger amount in the market with a smaller amount of capital in your trading account. For example, if your account balance is 500 EUR, with leverage 1:200 you can control up to 10, 000 on the markets.

What is spread?

The spread is the difference between the sell and the buy price. Our variable spreads represent a more fair, transparent picture of the market, as they depend entirely on market fluctuations, resulting in simple and equal pricing for everyone.

What are CFD’s?

A contract for difference (CFD) is a financial instrument that allows traders to invest into an asset class without actually owning the asset. The CFD is a contract between two parties (the buyer and the seller).

How to download and trade from the MT4 trading platform?

To download the MT4 platform, go to ‘My Dashboard’ Page. Click on the Settings tab on your Real or Demo account, and you will find the buttons to ‘DOWNLOAD FOR WINDOWS/MAC’.
You will also find there your ‘MT4 ACCOUNT NUMBER’ which you should use to login, and you will have the option to generate a new MT4 password if necessary.

What are Tradeo’s fees?

Tradeo is mainly compensated for its services through the spread which is the difference between the Sell and the Buy price so we do not charge any fees for trading. You can find any other fees here.

Does Tradeo offer Islamic accounts?

We offer Islamic accounts which adhere to Islamic religious principles and are also called by the term “Swap-free” accounts. Special conditions apply to them: the overnight swap fee which is usually charged or credited to clients, and which is calculated as the price difference between rollover close and rollover open trades, is not applied to swap-free accounts. This means the client will neither be credited or debited any amount of interest on any open position in their trading account at the closing of each business day (server time 00:00).

In order to apply for a swap-free account simply email [email protected] in order to receive the Islamic account application terms. As soon as we get them back signed, your account will be transferred to swap free.

How to change your account leverage?

**Applies to traders under IFSC license **
In order to change the account leverage (Forex Only), go to My Dashboard Page. Click on the Settings tab on your Real or Demo account, set the required leverage from the dropdown menu under the ‘Account leverage’ section and then click on the Change Leverage button.

How to get my MT4 Login and Password?

To find your MT4 Login number, first login at https://tradeo.com/my-dashboard to go to the ‘My Dashboard’ page. Click on the ‘Settings’ tab on your Real or Demo account, where you will find your ‘MT4 ACCOUNT NUMBER’ that you should use to login. To generate the MT4 password, go to ‘My Dashboard’ Page. Click on the ‘Settings’ tab on your Real or Demo account, fill out the 2 fields for ‘new password’ and “confirm new password’ (under the ‘Change MT4 password’ section), and then click on the ‘Change Password’ button.

How can I deposit funds to my trading account?

To fund your trading account, click on the Fund button on My Dashboard page. In case you do not have an active real account, then click on Activate Real Account button; after you submit your personal information, you will be redirected to the deposit page.

What deposit methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit card issuers, Neteller, Skrill, and bank wire transfer. Depending on your country of residence, additional deposit methods may be available.

What is the minimum deposit amount?

You can start trading with as little as 250 EUR/USD/GBP. For particular Tradeo clients we may offer minimum deposit in the amount of $100.

Do you charge any fees for deposits?

No, all deposits to your trading account with Tradeo are free of charge.

Can I deposit using a friend’s payment method?

No, third party deposits are now allowed due to Anti Money Laundering regulations.

How can I withdraw funds from my trading account?

You can request a withdrawal from My dashboard page.

How long do withdrawals take?

Once your withdrawal request is executed, it usually takes 2 to 5 business days for your withdrawal to be credited to your bank account, credit/debit card or other preferred withdrawal destination.

What is the minimum withdrawal amount?

The minimum withdraw should be above 15 $ / €/ £ , as these are the bank/payment processors’ and Tradeo Processing fees. The company has no minimum withdrawal requirements from its clients.

Why do I need to submit documents for account verification?

By verifying your account, you confirm that you are the owner of this account and express intentions to trade on the financial markets. As a fully regulated broker, Tradeo is required to verify each client and this also enables us to protect our community of traders. Your information is always kept confidential and is only used for compliance purposes.

Where do I complete my account verification?

To complete your account activation please go to My Dashboard page and click on Account Activation tab. We will ask you to complete a questionnaire and upload your account verification documents.

What documents do I need to submit for my account verification?

1. Proof of identity – passport, national identity card or driving license. Proof of Identity: Please note that you must submit a color copy of your valid ID document (front & back) as needed.
2. Proof of address – bank/card statement or utility bill. Please note that this should be a color copy, and must have been issued no longer than 6 months ago. Examples of documents which can be provided are:
• Water/gas/electric/internet/landline telephone bill
• Residency certificate or tenancy contract
• ID document which states your address and has NOT already been used as your identification document

We are unable to accept mobile telephone bills or documents that list a P.O. box as a residential address. If your (utility) bills are not in your name you can send us a copy of your recent bank statement as proof of address. Please note that it must have been issued within the last 3 months.

How long does it take for my account to be verified?

We do our best to process clients’ verifications in timely manner. Please expect your account to be verified within 2 days from providing your documents.

Can I trade before I submit my account verification documents?

Yes, up to 15 days, after the account was funded. In case you do not provide the necessary documents, the account will be closed and your initial deposit refunded. Note that any losses made from trading during those 15 days will not be refunded.

What is Margin level?

Margin Level is the ratio of Equity to Margin which helps to measure how close your account is, to the percentage of margin call.

Margin level is calculated by the formula: Margin Level = (Equity / Used Margin) x 100

When the margin level decreases, your account bears more risk of liquidation/stop out. You should monitor the margin level and if needed deposit more funds, or decrease open exposure in order to increase your margin level.

What is Margin Call?

Margin call is a limit set by the broker for the margin level, when Tradeo Margin Call level (also known as ‘Stop-out’ level) is currently set to 50% for EU clients trading under CySEC , and to 30% for NonEU clients trading under IFSC license .
Once your margin level drops the %, we shall automatically begin closing positions at the current market price, starting from the most unprofitable, to restore the margin level of your account to above %.

What is Required Margin?

Required Margin refers to the amount required for you to open and maintain a position.

What is Used Margin?

Used Margin is the sum of margin currently used for your open positions.

What is Free Margin?

Free Margin is available funds to trade on an account and open new positions and/or withdraw funds from the account.

The formula to calculate your Free Margin is: Free Margin = Equity – Margin
